Session Three - The Necromancer
[2023/08/14 15:56] Sonja Bikergrrl: Grrrrreeeeeeetings, Adventurers, welcome to the den of the Dragon, known as Sonja.
[2023/08/14 15:57] Sonja Bikergrrl: I do believe we were going to take a nice midnight stroll through the forest to a remote clearing to meet the defectee goblins
[2023/08/14 15:58] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: Indeed, to inform them how the meeting with the humans went and what "being good" actually entails.
[2023/08/14 15:58] Alicia Frakture: yep
[2023/08/14 15:59] Sonja Bikergrrl: Someone roll the d20 and the d12
[2023/08/14 15:59] ɗίηα ωíƖɗę ღ (dinadrone): yes very ready to meet with them
[2023/08/14 15:59] Alicia Frakture: ... really?
[2023/08/14 15:59] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: (( *begins humming the doom song* ))
[2023/08/14 15:59] Sonja Bikergrrl: 1 and 1.... fucks sake....
[2023/08/14 16:00] Sonja Bikergrrl: okay. The Dice Gods have decreed it.
[2023/08/14 16:00] Alicia Frakture: /me starts writing up a new character
[2023/08/14 16:01] Sonja Bikergrrl: You're about half way there when two spears suddenly fly at you! And then there's blood thirsty cries as you are attacked.
[2023/08/14 16:01] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: Do they sound like high pitched demons with tiny unwashed throats?
[2023/08/14 16:02] Sonja Bikergrrl: A spear narrowly misses Megan, the other hits Leesha ... *winces at that roll*
[2023/08/14 16:03] Sonja Bikergrrl: Near mortally wounded, and then two goblins burst from the trees, jabbing at you with swords. Now what?
[2023/08/14 16:05] Alicia Frakture: Leesha is goignt o collapse against a tree, gripping the spear
[2023/08/14 16:06] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: Debben scrowls, and incants a spell in harsh dwarven syllables underlaid with a creaking voice, casting a spell at a goblin to churn the earth under them and sink them up to their knees! Onlookers might see the goblin suddenly kneel in panic.
[2023/08/14 16:06] Sonja Bikergrrl: Dina?
[2023/08/14 16:06] ɗίηα ωíƖɗę ღ (dinadrone): attempts to strike one of the goblins with her flail , saving her magic for healing any wounded after
[2023/08/14 16:06] Sonja Bikergrrl: d20, Dina
[2023/08/14 16:07] Sonja Bikergrrl: ffs
[2023/08/14 16:08] Sonja Bikergrrl: Dahlia swings at a goblin, but misses, as Megan chops at the other, a double-handed over-the-head swing that... misses.
[2023/08/14 16:08] Alicia Frakture: Leesha tries to yank the spear from her, a look of anger on her face
[2023/08/14 16:09] Sonja Bikergrrl: Debbens' spell disconcerts the goblins; they're used to being underground so aren't wholly afraid to be -in- the earth, but they do spend this round shouting in surprise and flailing about wildly, although to onlookers, of course, it's as if they dropped to their knees and acted like they were in danger of drowning
[2023/08/14 16:10] Sonja Bikergrrl: Now what?
[2023/08/14 16:11] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: Debben twirls her spear and then charges one of the goblins, the one that seems most likely to hit someone in it's failing, aiming the sharp point towards the chest.
[2023/08/14 16:11] Alicia Frakture: Leesha is going to withdraw the spear from her and throw it at one of the goblins
[2023/08/14 16:12] Sonja Bikergrrl: Dina?
[2023/08/14 16:12] ɗίηα ωíƖɗę ღ (dinadrone): surprised at having missed in her first swing would try again to strike the goblin nearest with her flail
[2023/08/14 16:12] Sonja Bikergrrl: d20s all round!
[2023/08/14 16:13] Sonja Bikergrrl: oh golly...
[2023/08/14 16:14] Sonja Bikergrrl: the dice gods decree that the thrown spear just misses a goblin. Although we all jab at, swing at and slice at the goblins, their guardian angels must be working overtime, because we all miss!
[2023/08/14 16:15] Sonja Bikergrrl: Meanwhile the goblins shuffle about and apparantly swim on the ground, almost as if they're getting to the edge of some sink hole, then they stand up, cursing and glaring hatefully at you.
[2023/08/14 16:16] Alicia Frakture: Leesha walks up to the nearest goblin and just goes for a simple backhand, with all her strength
[2023/08/14 16:16] Sonja Bikergrrl: okay... I'm assuming with your wrench
[2023/08/14 16:17] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: "We had a deal!" Debben shouts back at them. "You claimed you wanted to try something new, that you could be 'good' for a change! And then we finally come up with a halfway workable plan for the humans to work with you for once, and what do you do? Attack us before we can even tell you you have a shot!"
[2023/08/14 16:17] Alicia Frakture: Nope, mind is not on wrench, just doing damage
[2023/08/14 16:17] Sonja Bikergrrl: Dina?
[2023/08/14 16:18] ɗίηα ωíƖɗę ღ (dinadrone): tries to aim her swing better this time hopeful she will finally hit the goblin
[2023/08/14 16:18] Sonja Bikergrrl: d20, Dina, Mecha
[2023/08/14 16:19] Sonja Bikergrrl: /me just hopes, after that dice rolling, that diplomacy works better than spears and swords
[2023/08/14 16:20] Sonja Bikergrrl: The two goblins look surprised, and barely remember to dodge as Dahlia, Leesa and Megan make wild swings at them. "Deal? What deal? What you talk about - you not magic user!"
[2023/08/14 16:23] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: "You don't recall?" she looks at the goblins, wondering if these -are- the same ones or if they're the ones who sided with the necromancer. "The plan was to meet here at midnight and walk to the human village."
[2023/08/14 16:23] Sonja Bikergrrl: What're everyone else doing?
[2023/08/14 16:24] Alicia Frakture: Leesha is going to wait to see if this works as she bleeds out.
[2023/08/14 16:25] ɗίηα ωíƖɗę ღ (dinadrone): /me would stop swinging a moment to speak, "Why are they attacking us?", standing ready to start swinging again if the goblins keep attacking us
[2023/08/14 16:26] Sonja Bikergrrl: "Meet here? Walk to village?" says one of the goblins, "What this?" Before he can think on it -much- further, Megam takes a swipe at him - the sword doesn't so much hit as decapitate him totally
[2023/08/14 16:27] Sonja Bikergrrl: The other goblins' eyes practically pop out of his head. "You kill Snotspill! Now I kill you!" and he swipes at Megan
[2023/08/14 16:27] Sonja Bikergrrl: Miss!
[2023/08/14 16:28] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: "Well, if you're some other goblins, then we don't have a deal." She shrugs, and hustles around to behind the goblin attacking Megan, thwapping her spear towards his head.
[2023/08/14 16:28] Alicia Frakture: Leesha is going to haul off with a haymaker punch, looking more for a knock out than a kill
[2023/08/14 16:29] ɗίηα ωíƖɗę ღ (dinadrone): /me seeing and hearing the goblin start attacking again, swings her flail at it
[2023/08/14 16:29] Sonja Bikergrrl: d20s!
[2023/08/14 16:31] Sonja Bikergrrl: Dahlia swipes at the goblin but misses. Leesha swings and just grazes his chin with her fist, lightly injuring him but also knocking him out cold. It's at about that point that Leesha collapses from her injury, and Megans' sword sweeps round and bowls the collapsing goblin over, hacking him nearly completely in half. Debben contributes to this by dropping her spear.
[2023/08/14 16:32] Sonja Bikergrrl: rallied well at the end there... what now? We got two dead goblins, one unconcious Leesha
[2023/08/14 16:33] Sonja Bikergrrl: /me saw that 1 :P
[2023/08/14 16:34] ɗίηα ωíƖɗę ღ (dinadrone): /me moves to Leesha's side to check her injuries
[2023/08/14 16:34] Sonja Bikergrrl: Leesha is in a bad way indeed, literally at deaths' door.
[2023/08/14 16:34] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: Debben is now cursing in her native dwarven langague like a blender full of gravel, kicking the dead goblins in the neck to confirm, and then picking up both her spear and inspecting the quality of the goblins swords. Anything good, or is it cheap crappy goblinite?
[2023/08/14 16:35] Sonja Bikergrrl: the goblins are most assuredly dead. One is without a head, the other has literally been disemboweled. The equipment is tatty, primitive, filthy
[2023/08/14 16:37] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: "I'd hesitate to drop this stuff into my smelting pot," she dismisses it, letting the cruddy blades clatter from her hands, before looking out into the woods. The thrown spears have her on edge for more goblins.
[2023/08/14 16:39] Sonja Bikergrrl: the swords are little more than sharp scrap, and barely worth carrying to melt down. You can get better anywhere else.
[2023/08/14 16:40] Sonja Bikergrrl: Megan shakes her head and wipes her sword clean. "Two coppers, is all they got."
[2023/08/14 16:41] ɗίηα ωíƖɗę ღ (dinadrone): /me after checking her injuries would begin casting cure light wounds on Leesha, and afterward tearing a part of her own robes to make some bandages too.
[2023/08/14 16:41] Sonja Bikergrrl: Dhalia chants and mutters, and the air glows around Leesha - and she is healed back to full health
[2023/08/14 16:43] Sonja Bikergrrl: What next?
[2023/08/14 16:43] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: "So who are these clowns and where are our friendlies?" She's not actually skilled in tracking, but will look around for clues as to where these guys came from before looking for the path to their planned meeting place.
[2023/08/14 16:43] Alicia Frakture: /me slowly rises and looks at DhaliaI "Appreciate that."
[2023/08/14 16:44] Sonja Bikergrrl: Megan looks down at the two bodies. "Not -all- of the goblins are good, they're trying to escape their tribe.... and we still aren't at the meeting point."
[2023/08/14 16:45] Alicia Frakture: /me sighs and draws her wrench."Then let's keep going."
[2023/08/14 16:45] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: "Well I can't tell them apart. We'll need some way for the humans to know which are the evil ones and the good ones."
[2023/08/14 16:46] Sonja Bikergrrl: Megan: "The good ones are the ones hiding in robes, the bad ones generally try to kill you."
[2023/08/14 16:46] Sonja Bikergrrl: Dina?
[2023/08/14 16:47] ɗίηα ωíƖɗę ღ (dinadrone): /me would move to check to see if Leesha needed bandaging anywhere after the magic had finished coursing through her unsure if it had been enough to close every wound. After that would tuck her flail away in her pack and ready to getting moving with the group again.
[2023/08/14 16:48] Sonja Bikergrrl: The magic heals and closes the wound, so, nothing more to do there. And, as we prepare to continue... BONG! the time is up - until next time!
[2023/08/14 16:49] Sonja Bikergrrl: nearly 1am so I better leave sharpish
[2023/08/14 16:49] ɗίηα ωíƖɗę ღ (dinadrone): good night Mistress <3
[2023/08/14 16:49] Alicia Frakture: Fun session :)
[2023/08/14 16:49] Sonja Bikergrrl: it was... even if it was almost a TPK :P
